Many of the Volunteer in Parks Programs that Stewards supports need more volunteers. Our parks are very busy with visitors after COVID-19 kept people home for so many months. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve While Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is still closed after the Walbridge Fire of August 2020, we anticipate reopening this summer. Conservation Corps North Bay (2021 Community Grant Recipient) is working on bicycle donations for some of the corpsmembers. Bike transportation is a great (and green) way to get to work and meet other transportation needs. New and gently used bicycles are welcomed as are donations towards the cost of a bike. Successful Sock Drive for Reach for Home Thanks to Impact 100 Redwood Circle members' generosity, hundreds of pairs of warm socks were delivered on February 3rd to Reach for Home, a 2020 community grant recipient. The agency serves the unsheltered community in north Sonoma County.
