Beyond The Check

Requests, Donation Needs, Volunteer Opportunities, and Events:

Opportunities for our members to partner with and further support our grantees.

DONATIONS NEEDED

The Living Room Needs Household items
  • 3 twin bed frames and mattresses
  • Bed (any size) and same size linens
  • 4-slice toaster

The Living Room is in search of 3 twin bed frames and mattresses to add to our 2 new houses, extending our housing program from 39 to 47 women and their children.

Another success- we have a transitional-aged youth moving into her first apartment. We are looking for another bed, with linens, of any size, to move into her space.

Recently, the 4-slice toaster in our day center recently stopped working.

If you happen to have any of the items listed above, please contact Elizabeth Winkler, Executive Assistant for The Living Room at ewinkler@thelivingroomsc.org

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Finally, The Living Room wants to express our deepest gratitude to the women of Impact 100 Redwood Circle for the substantial support given to our Workforce Development Framework at our center. In these uncertain times, as federal funding has all but ceased, The Living Room is looking for new funding opportunities as well as the chance to extend our community of support. We ask at this time for any introductions to folks in the community who may find value in supporting our programs- This means women: seniors, youth, mothers, as well as children and pets. As always, a gracious and heartfelt thank you for supporting TLR.
