Dear Impact 100 Redwood Circle Members,
2020 marks five years since Impact 100 RC was formed, began distributing grants, and grew to over 200 members! In fact, we have $205,000 available to grant in 2020. As a result the Leadership Team, decided to review our processes and policies to determine if any changes are needed.
The Leadership Team created a Task Force whose mission was to review these processes. After soliciting the membership for volunteers, the Task Force is comprised of members of the current Impact Grant and Community Grants Committees and members-at-large.
The Task Force reviewed the following:
- Processes of the other 60 Impact Chapters around the US
- Best practices with staff of the Community Foundation
- Sectors, or focus areas, and how we utilize those in grant selection
- Options for distribution of funds as we grow
The Task Force has completed its work. We would like to invite interested members to attend a meeting on March 26 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. at Yulupa Co-Housing (1350 Yulupa Ave. Santa Rosa.) At this meeting, task force members will preview their recommended changes to the Community and Impact Grant processes. A ratification vote will be conducted for all members in March.
Please RSVP to impact100impactgrant@gmail.com by March 20th.
