Nancy joined Impact100 Redwood Giving Circle in 2018 and has served on the Education Committee where she is currently co-chair. She is grateful to be part of an organization that focuses on learning about our community, meeting its leaders and engaging with the nonprofit organizations we support.
She holds a BA in history from Northwestern University and an MPA in Public Administration from Sonoma State University.
She has served on arts and educational non-profit boards and supported human services in Sonoma County for over thirty years. She was co-founder of the Teen Counseling Project of West Sonoma County, a parent’s group that raised funds for outreach therapists. She has been an advocate for art-making programs at elementary schools and other group settings. Most recently she served on the Sonoma County Civil Grand Jury, to further positive change through its reports on local government. She continues to support its work as a member of the local Civil Grand Jury Chapter.
Nancy and her husband Dale moved to California 34 years ago from Massachusetts and raised their three children in Sebastopol. She is a poet and artist and loves doing art projects with her three grandchildren.
