Tina Settineri

Tina grew up in Pennsylvania, went to college in Ohio, then obtained her PhD. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at University of California, San Francisco.  She then worked in biotechnology and scientific instrumentation companies for 20+ years in technical, product management, marketing and executive management roles in the Bay Area. When her children were in elementary and middle school, she participated on the board of the non-profit afterschool care program and eventually became board president for 2 years. She also was involved with a non-profit called the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) where she mentored women in graduate school science programs.

After leaving her last corporate job in 2017, Tina started a small consulting business after she and her husband decided to move to Sonoma County. After years of wine tasting, she took some wine classes and obtained part time job pouring wine in a tasting room at Emeritus Vineyards in Sebastopol, where she still works today.  Tina is an avid gardener, and has volunteered at Food For Thought in their garden since 2019.

In 2019 she also got involved with the Sonoma West County Sister District group and has been leading the fundraising team since 2022.  Tina and her husband have a grown daughter and son and a new grandson as of June 2024!
